Right now there are some great stock up prices on Kellogg’s cereal. I went to two stores, Kroger and Walgreens.
My biggest deal today was at Walgreens. They have some of their Kellogg’s Cereal on sale for $1.99. I bought 5 boxes of Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes. I used the store coupons found on the Walgreens app: $2 off of four Kellogg’s cereals and 50 cents off 1 box of Kellogg’s cereal. That made my total at Walgreens $7.65. I then used my Ibotta app (https://ibotta.com/r/vyppdq) to save 50 cents per box for up to 5 boxes of Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes. Making my total $5.15 so that’s $1.03 per box!
I then went by Kroger where they have their Big Boxes of Kellogg’s Fruit Loops and Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes on sale for a $1.99 with their store coupon you can find on the Kroger App.
I got two big boxes of Fruit Loops (Frosted Flakes were cleared out) for $1.99 with store coupon. I then used my Ibotta app (https://ibotta.com/r/vyppdq) to save 50 cents on one box so I got both boxes for a total of $3.50. That’s a $1.75 per box. Not as good as Walgreens but still pretty awesome.
Cereal has a long shelf life so stocking up when it’s this low will help you save on your grocery bill. It also makes for a great food bank donation.
Disclosure: If you use my referral link https://ibotta.com/r/vyppdq to sign up for Ibotta I will get referral compensation. But I truly love this app and have saved hundreds ($309.70 so far) on my everyday grocery purchases so that’s why you’ll see me use it a lot when talking about grocery savings.
All you do is pick your store, the food you’ll be buying, then scan your receipt when purchase is complete and watch the money add up. Ibotta is an app I highly recommend both for savings potential and ease of use.
